Our Services
We're the only recruitment firm exclusively focused on neurodiversity in education, we speak your language and deliver candidates who already do too.
The teachers who excel with neurodiverse learners possess a rare combination: deep pedagogical knowledge, creative problem-solving, and authentic buy-in to work with students that learn differently. These educators are in high demand and hard to find, unless you know where to look. That's our specialty. We know this world well, have developed a strong network of talented educators, and understand the varying needs of different types of schools. When you partner with us, you're not sifting through hundreds of generic applications. You're reviewing a curated shortlist of candidates we'd hire for our own children.

Your commitment to serving neurodiverse learners deserves recruitment partners who share that commitment, not generic agencies treating your particular need like any other teaching job. At Magister Placement, we've chosen to focus exclusively on neurodiversity in education because we believe this work matters profoundly and requires educators with specific expertise, not just good intentions. We understand the challenges you face: finding teachers who see student strengths alongside struggles, who won't pathologize differences or lower expectations, who bring evidence-based strategies and also genuine relationships with students, who'll collaborate effectively with colleagues and families. These educators exist, but they're often hidden in networks and communities that traditional recruitment channels don't reach. We've spent years building trust within the neurodiversity education community and when we present candidates, you're meeting people who've specifically chosen this work, who understand your mission because they share it, and who bring the combination of expertise and passion that sustains excellent programs.

We begin every engagement with consultation, not just a job posting. We'll discuss your specific needs, student population, team structure, what's worked in past hires, and what hasn't, helping you clarify requirements and potentially redesign aspects of the role for better retention. Once we're aligned, we immediately tap our network of qualified candidates while conducting targeted outreach to passive candidates who aren't actively job searching but might be open to the right opportunity. Our screening process is thorough: in-depth interviews assessing teaching philosophy and practical experience, scenario-based questions revealing how candidates actually think about neurodiverse learners, and evaluation of cultural fit based on what we know about your school. Within 2-4 weeks, we typically present 3-5 strong candidates that match your needs. Throughout the interview process, we act as thoughtful intermediaries: preparing candidates to present authentically, helping you assess what matters most, facilitating honest conversations about expectations and realities, and supporting both parties in making informed decisions. When you find the right person, we help you craft an offer that reflects their worth and your values.
