Big Ideas, Real Impact.
Every event we host is designed with intention, from the atmosphere we create to the way each session flows.
Positions We Place
We focus on teachers and administrators who have a background and interest in working with neurodiverse students. This could be a specialist position focusing on a specific domain like reading or executive functioning, a general education teacher or subject-specific teacher who is well-suited to work with a range of students. Additionally, Magister Placement provides administrators that range from Department Chairs to Associate Heads of School.
Subject specific and general education teachers
We also place a full range of teachers spanning primary school through high school and encompassing all academic disciplines. Our teachers have experience, background, or a defined interest in working with students who learn differently. We know that having these teachers, whether at a specialized or mainstream school, aids not just the students in their classes, but brings added resources to all other teachers who now have a colleague that understands the unique learning profiles of students and how best to teach them.
Administrators
Magister also places administrators with a background in working with neurodiverse students. A Dean of Students who understands the impulsive nature of a student with ADHD, a Director of Studies who recognizes that learning support is not just an add-on but should be part of an integrated whole, an Athletic Director who helps coaches rethink practices around the needs of their players, or an Admissions Director who knows how to interpret educational testing. Key administrators play a critical part in helping any school reach its full potential and bring out excellence in all of its students.
